Hi, I am Lori. I currently provide support to Women & Non-binary folks virtually in Ontario. I offer this support in the form of individual counselling and support groups. Admitting you need help, and getting it, are probably one of the hardest things to do in life. I work with individuals, couples and families. As a counsellor who works with individuals, I help clients identify their problem, collaborately set goals with them, and help them discover tools to cope with their struggles on a daily basis. As a couple's therapist, I help clients improve communication, identify what is driving the relationship difficulties, and help the couple move towards the desired dynamic in the relationship. As a family therapist, I help families resolve their conflicts and improve communication.

This includes working with and families and individuals with a history of childhood neglect, abuse, trauma, work related issues, family problems, and psychological issues including anxiety, mood, and personality disorders.

With extensive experience working with university and college students, emerging adults, members of marginalized communities, diverse newcomers, and coaching executives, I offer you a trained ear. Client issues include feeling stuck, mood issues, mind on overdrive, and managing transitions. As a Registered Psychotherapist, with over 15 years in field of psychology, I know that reaching out for support can be unnerving. I am passionate about working with Teens, Adults, Parents and Families for issues such as Eating Disorders, parenting struggles, excessive worry or anxiety, feelings of "I'm not good enough", low mood, stress, trauma, complex mental health issues, family & relationship diffiulties, abuse, and emotional distress.
