I aim to support my clients to help navigate and explore the affects of the challenges they encounter in their daily lives. With over 7 years of experience working with youth and adults and families, I have supported clients who might encounter an array of issues including interpersonal challenges, anxiety, depression, school or work stress and transitions. In our work together, we might support you to manage unhelpful thoughts, bolster coping skills, increase confidence and mobilize supports.
My practice is grounded in an anti-oppressive, trauma informed and a harm-reduction perspective, with an emphasis on intersectionality. I utilize an integrated model of therapeutic practice which includes mindfulness-based and self-compassion approaches, narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy.
I also greatly value that my clients are the experts of their lives and I approach therapy in a non-judgmental way. I am committed to collaborating with you to create a safe and warm space where we will have the opportunity to work towards identified goals.
