Coming to therapy can be uncomfortable, especially for men. We're rarely taught how to talk about our feelings, or that it's even acceptable to share them. Whether as individuals, or as part of a couple, I provide an environment where you can talk openly, without shame or embarrassment. When working with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners improve their connection. I ensure that both partners feel safe, acknowledging that it's often male partners who feel the most vulnerable in therapy.

Do you feel stuck in a cycle of overwhelm and exhaustion, often meeting other people’s needs, but having little left over for yourself? If you've gone through life without much emotional support, you've probably found ways to get your needs met that involve taking care of other people. You might feel guilty just thinking about doing something for yourself, or believe that if you stop to take care of you, everything else will fall apart. If this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you. In my practice, I help people connect with their underlying needs, shift old patterns and build a more supported life.
