I offer individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults as well as assessments. My areas of interest include autism spectrum disorder, behavioural difficulties, depression, anxiety and adjustment.

I instinctively formulate psychodynamically. However, I am a firm believer of meeting my clients where they are and together framing treatment within a modality that fits the presenting problem and the client’s therapeutic goals. This belief aligns with my integrative training which allows for the viewing of individuals as complex and dynamic beings, who at times struggle with interpersonal challenges rooted in multifaceted systems.

Hi, My name is Jacqui. I came upon the decision of going into Social Work and Play Therapy in 2018. What guided me to this decision was the realization that I had a passion for helping people and for working with children. Hi there! I work with people of all ages to address emotional and behavioural issues as well as scholastic challenges in children and adolescents. I am a person centered therapist, meaning that I believe that all my clients have unlimited potential that can be developed. I’m also a pragmatic person who seeks solutions for problems with my clients and provide tailored tools to deal with emotional problems. I worked in the academic field where I trained counselors and teachers, before focusing on private practice full time. I was a senior lecturer at NWU and contract lecturer at UP in Educational Psychology and Education.
