I have a special interest in working with attachment, infant & child mental health, relational trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, personality and mood disorders.I assist and support people through their greatest suffering and the most painful moments of their lives through psychotherapy. I am passionate about assisting people, through the therapeutic journey to recognize their strength and resilience, and to step forward with grace and courage. I have found great fulfillment in my role as a psychotherapist, as I am permitted to carry in my heart and mind the stories of other people’s love, hurt, trauma, struggles and growth.
I work from an integrative perspective, drawing from various modalities and techniques to tailor psychotherapy to each client’s unique history, values, needs and individual therapeutic goals. I received training in different psychological modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic therapy.
I view psychotherapy as a collaborative journey whereby a person can explore their inner world of thoughts, feelings and experiences within the safety of a strong therapeutic relationship.This sets the foundation for healing, personal growth, and the enhancement of interpersonal interactions for a more fulfilling life and relationships.
