At The Refuge, A Healing Place, we provide residential programming for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders, eating disorders, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and self-harming behaviors. Treatment in our adult residential program typically lasts a minimum of 30 days, but a client's unique needs and circumstances determine their actual length of stay. Clients in residential treatment receive personalized care to aid in their healing journeys. Treatment is delivered by an expert team that is comprised of counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, registered dietitians, medical doctors, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, equine therapists, and certified trauma therapists. We strive to treat clients with empathy and respect while encouraging them to pursue happier, healthier lives.

Residential Treatment accepts both local and out of area residents, with most of the program's participants coming to us from throughout the United States Located in South Florida, Milestones is near two major airports in the South Florida area.
