In our on-site medical detox program, we deliver high-quality medical and therapeutic support to help adults safely rid their bodies of the substances they have been using. This process can help minimize the discomfort of withdrawal and promote patients’ health and physical well-being as they take their next steps toward long-term recovery. Adults usually remain in our detox program for about three days, depending on their needs. We treat co-occurring disorders in which patients suffer from both addiction and mental health disorders like mood or thought disorders. We provide a safe environment and caring staff at our facility. We hope to have the opportunity to help you or your loved one. Typical PHP, Partial Hospitalization, programs are usually 5 days, about 6-8 hours of programming a day and include group and individual group therapy sessions. We have comfortable and spacious group therapy rooms, private offices for our one-on-one therapy sessions with our licensed counselors and providers. Typical IOP, Intensive Outpatient, is 3-4 days a week, about 3-4 hours per day. We offer flexible schedules because we know that many patients are trying to go back to school or find employment and may work during the day time.

The Behavioral Medicine and Wellness Center (BMWC), a service of Salem Regional Medical Center, offers specialized outpatient treatment and support for adults facing a range of mental health issues. The program serves as a link in the continuum of care for individuals who need more intensive therapy than traditional outpatient care, but do not require admission to an inpatient facility. The program does not replace an individual's current outpatient treatment, but rather serves to enhance the client's existing plan of care when further intervention is needed. We serve adults 18 years and over with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Clients must be cognitively and emotionally capable of participating in group therapy, and should demonstrate a reasonable expectation for improvement in their diagnosis and level of functioning.
