At Toledo Center, we take an innovative approach to guide clients and their families on their journeys. We use evidence-based approaches to best help each individual and understand that many people struggle with ambivalence or motivation. We provide compassionate care to help guide clients and their families through recovery. We treat all genders, ages 10 and older, helping each person reclaim their life, their health, and their future. Additionally, our child and adolescent treatment programs have a measured approach to schoolwork, dedicating time within the program without allowing this to impede the recovery process. Toledo Center is in a peaceful and private setting on the banks of a picturesque 10-Mile Creek. Our location provides a unique, therapeutic environment that is conducive to recovery. The spacious and tranquil setting is just one example of the Toledo Center difference. Residential Treatment Programs
Our residential programs provide a high level of intensity, structure, safety, and monitoring for children and adolescents of all genders (ages 10-17), as well as adults of all genders (ages 18 and older) who have an eating disorder. Our residence provides safe and comfortable living areas with shared rooms and a common living space where they receive 24-hour care, 7 days a week. Residents receive assistance from staff members in daily living activities such as personal hygiene, self-administration of medications, self-responsibility for keeping their rooms clean and neat, cooperative management of common living space, time management, and participation in recreational and community activities. Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP)
Our Adult PHP and our Adolescent PHP both offer customized treatment that helps each client achieve their recovery goals related to their eating disorder symptoms. Our unique environment meets each client where they are in an atmosphere of openness and acceptance without judgment. We also focus on addressing the underlying issues and supporting long-term recovery with a combination of a unique step-down approach and multidisciplinary therapies. The most significant benefit of our PHP is that clients have access to the guidance and security of treatment while they learn to make decisions for themselves. Rather than being thrust back into the real world, we help our clients gradually take steps toward independence when they move from our residential treatment to our PHP.
