K& I Healthcare Services was founded in 2019 as the brainchild of Ike Obiora and Kelvinda Kamara, psychiatric nurse practitioners who recognized that the mental health care system was broken during their work in Baltimore, Maryland. As their frustration grew with the prevalence of untreated mental illness among traditionally underserved populations, they decided to start a mental health organization that viewed the underlying social, emotional, and medical determinants of patient behavior as major drivers of the treatment planning and service delivery processes

My name is Ahaoma Nnebedum, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from Walden University's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Master’s degree program, and currently enrolled in Brandman's university DNP program with an anticipated completion date of May 2021. I practice both in an in-patient and out-patient setting treating patients with varying psychiatric diagnosis which include- schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorder, PTSD and other behavioral problems.

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 104-bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. We have addiction and mental health outpatient clinics across Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Virginia. We can provide medical and psychological evaluations, medication assisted treatment, addiction therapy, addiction referral services, home treatment programs, and a variety of wellness services. We treat our patients in outpatient settings, so they continue normal routines except without the dependency on harmful drugs. Patients can respond very quickly with positive results and low risk.

Barbara Harrison is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Advanced Practice Addiction Registered Nurse and a Maryland State approved Substance Abuse Supervisor. Ms. Harrison is Certified in: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT). She is a member of the International Nurses Society on Addictions, the American Nurses Association, the Maryland Nurses Association, and is a Member if the Montgomery County Local Behavioral Health Authority Provider Council. She Specializes in working with individuals, families, and Groups in the treatment of mental health.

Sandstone Care provides substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.
