Evolve Ojai offers premier mental health, substance use, and dual diagnosis treatment for children and teens ages 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harming/high-risk behaviors, addiction, suicidality, ADHD, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and other emotional/behavioral issues. At Evolve, we cater exclusively to adolescents. The Ascension Center for Mental Health (formerly Alexian Brothers) in Arlington Heights, offers an array of outpatient services.Individual therapy is available for children, adolescents and adults, including couples and family therapy. Other services include medication management with a psychiatrist, case management services, vocational rehabilitation, supported education and transitional and supportive living arrangements. In addition, for those whose symptoms are increasing, we offer an alternative to an in-patient hospitalization. Our Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Program consists of a small group program daily from 9-3 for approximately three weeks, individual therapy and medication evaluation and monitoring. This program teaches coping skills in a safe environment, helps to reduce negative thinking, and offers therapy with others who are struggling with similar conditions. Our Catalyst Day Program in Wheaton is designed for adults 18 years and older. It is designed to be less restrictive than a hospital or residential program while providing a higher level of care than is available through outpatient counseling. This intensive treatment program may be the perfect answer for those who are not making satisfactory progress through outpatient counseling, need to move through an issue more quickly due to a life crisis, or as a step-down from hospital/residential care. The treatment plan is customized to meet the individual's unique needs, integrating psychological, physical and spiritual components. Many clients find comfort in the fact that we are Christian based so they have confidence the care they receive will not conflict with their beliefs. Whether or not clients are Christian, they receive equal respect and quality care in a safe environment.
