Ascend’s Adolescent Residential Treatment program is an intensive inpatient mental health program for teens who are struggling with severe mental health challenges. This level of care is optimal for youth who may be experiencing significant impairments in day to day life as a result of their depression, suicidality, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or other challenges. Our residential treatment program is an integral part of our overall treatment programs with the goal of helping improve the lives of the youth of our community. Ascend Behavioral Health is the only place in the Central Valley where teens have the opportunity to be carefully guided through a smooth transition across our continuum of care that includes a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) when they are preparing to step down from inpatient residential treatment. At A Mind Above Intensive Outpatient Program we have a specific focus on trauma and neurodivergent clients.

We offer Central California's premier, adult mental health Residential Treatment Center, Partial Hospitalization Program, and Intensive Outpatient Program. Our program is run by talented and experienced mental health clinicians that use evidenced based treatment to help restore health and functioning in those that are struggling with mental health conditions. We have a residential ("inpatient") treatment center where patients receive treatment 24/7. Services include psychiatry, nursing, individual and group therapy, and more. Sierra Meadows also has a partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program that meets four to five days per week, at our outpatient center. Patients receive an initial psychological assessment, an individualized treatment plan, group and individual therapy, and case management services. We serve adults with a wide range of mental health conditions including those who are having difficulty coping with life’s stressors due to heightened mental health symptoms. This includes those suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, personality disorders, and more.

The goal of Balance Treatment Center Intensive Outpatient program is to provide our clients a path to long-term stability and well-being using a balanced approach that the clients will be able to follow in their daily lives. Balance IOP provides treatment, support and education to those struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, oppositional defiance, psychosis, and substance abuse issues including dual diagnosis. Those who enter our program will be welcomed into a supportive and structured group environment, consisting of people struggling with similar challenges, where they will be made to feel comfortable expressing their struggles and concerns. Our team of seasoned clinicians offers a variety of clinical backgrounds to expose our clients to a range of therapeutic approaches so that our collective clinical knowledge can best suit each client's unique needs.

Insight Treatment Programs are intensive outpatient treatment (IOP) programs for teens and early young adults (14-19 years of age) suffering from mental health and addiction issues. Every family is unique and has different needs, problems, and resources. Therefore, Insight’s treatment staff takes pride in creating individualized treatment plans tailored to each family’s specific goals. Whether your teen is suffering from mental health disorders (depression, anxiety, or trauma) or is showing self-harming, aggressive or addictive behaviors, we are here to help.

New Directions is now offering a group treatment telehealth program. We can now provide treatment for clients who live anywhere within the State of California. Telehealth is an innovative way to participate in our group treatment program and allows clients to connect with the therapist and one another in real time. It is easy to use and requires a computer with webcam , speakers and internet access. All communications are confidential and comply with privacy standards. We offer: Intimate group settings with a limit of 8 in a group 15 weeks intensive outpatient treatment, groups meet 3 times a week Group therapy facilitation by a licensed therapist Consultation with a nutritionist and/or registered dietitian Coordination with your primary care provider and/or therapist Individualized food plans prepared by our nutritionist. We offer groups for adults as well as an adolescent group. Our program integrates mental health, physical health, and we focus on depression, anxiety and eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating.

Located in the heart of the Embarcadero district, Foundations San Francisco offers a comprehensive intensive outpatient program and Partial Hospitalization for addiction and mental health conditions in a convenient urban setting. We provide highly individualized, confidential treatment to help you in your recovery. Our masters-level therapists offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies alongside mindfulness and holistic practices with a flexible schedule. In addition, we offer 12-Step-optional programs where clinical decisions are driven by your unique needs. Participants attend the program for approximately 25 days or around 5 to 8 weeks. Participants attend the program a minimum of 3 days a week up to 5 days a week depending on the level of support needed. The Day IOP runs Monday through Friday 3 hours a day, 12PM –3PM and the Evening IOP runs Monday through Thursday 5PM – 8PM. OP is now available including 1 group and 1 individualize session per week. The program is certified by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and accredited by The Joint Commission. Validated parking.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process.
