I have completed the MAPS-endorsed program to become a certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider (PATP) that prepared me for clinically guiding clients through Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) and providing integration post-KAP infusion, which is offered on-site at Windows Health Clinic, along with training towards the anticipated medical release of psilocybin and MDMA. I am also beginning EMDR training in May to June 2024, which has been shown to be helpful for reprocessing trauma memories.
When addressing goals, I feel it is important to have a basic idea of desired outcomes at the beginning of treatment, yet I also recognize that these objectives can change in both small and large ways over time. Identifying goals will be a collaborative process that can be modified throughout the treatment process.
My personal approach to therapy is non-hierarchical and non-directive, meaning that I recognize the unique perspective and expertise toward life each client brings to therapy. Collaboratively, we can set a comfortable pace that still promotes opportunities for change.
