I believe that everyone brings something special to the table and I aim to help clients explore and maintain self-confidence. I work with people of all ages suffering from depression, anxiety, relationship problems, trauma, sex issues, substance abuse, and behavioral issues. I work hard to get to know my clients so that we can then build a collaborative plan for achieving personal goals. I believe that I am the expert on clinical mental health and my clients are the experts on themselves. Together we make a great team!

I work with a diverse array of clients, including active and retired military, police, and other first responders, as well as victim/survivors of trauma, chronic illness, substance use, and the LGBTQ+ population. I have skills for the variety of concerns that my populations encounter, including, complex PTSD, trauma, severe anxiety, adjustment, re-integration, communication, TBI/ABIs, phobias, substance use, and mood dysregulation. Most importantly, I work with clients that come how they are, how they can, and with everything they have.

My main focus is trauma and PTSD. My secondary focus is on Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome and Parental Alienation. I also do a lot of work with anxiety (social and generalized), addictions, depression, abuse (of all kinds). These are often tied to my two main focuses. I have a lot of experience working with military personnel and veterans.

Integra Psychological Services, PLLC is owned by clinical neuropsychologist Dr. Levi Armstrong. We provide compassionate psychological and neuropsychological testing / evaluation services for children, adolescents, and adults. We also provide individual, couples, and marriage/family therapy.

I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas (in person & virtual sessions) & Illinois (virtual only sessions) providing short and long-term therapy to adults (ages 18 and up). I have worked with individuals from all ranges of life including varying socio-economic status and different stages of life in settings like college counseling centers, community mental health, and forensic detention facilities. Some areas of interest to me are depression or difficult moods, troubling thought processes, low self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, recovery from trauma, and chronic relationship problems/marriage difficulties.

My goal in counseling is to encourage and motivate my clients as we work together through the process of healing. I help clients work through life's challenges, establish and accomplish their goals, and ultimately change their lives in more healthy and positive ways.

My greatest strength is empathy, the ability to put myself in the shoes of my client to understand what they are feeling. Every brain is as unique as DNA, which means problems can present differently in people and can be triggered by different issues. I work with all ages, from children with ADHD to senior citizens with cognitive decline. Sometimes the client needs to build a toolbox, and other times, we can teach the brain new ways of processing information. It all depends on what issues you are dealing with in order to determine what solutions are available. I will guide you through what options are available for you to decide.

Jerred P. White MA, LCDC, LPC. I earned my graduate degree from Amberton University with a major in Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling and Bachelors degree in Science of Business and Human Development. I attended the Institute of Chemical Dependency school and completed over 4000 hours of chemical dependency counseling in residential and outpatient treatment facilities in efforts to become a fully licensed LCDC. I have over 10 years of working with families, individuals adults and children.

Among Joshua's areas of expertise are the treatment of Complex Trauma, PTSD, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Addiction, Personality Disorders, ADHD, Adjustment Disorders, Anger Management, Stress, Major Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, Couples Counseling, Cultural Issues, LGBTQ+, Coping Skills, Suicidal Ideation, and more. He enjoys working with teens, adult individuals, and couples.

Excelsior Therapy works with individuals, couples, families, and groups, even offering adult and teen anger management classes. We believe that using cognitive testing and evidenced-based interventions with the collaboration of clients creates the most positive impact on helping clients meet their goals. In addition, to these therapeutic specialties, Excelsior Therapy is connected with a medical team that can assist with medication management that many clients have come to appreciate.

Two Openings Left! I specialize in working with sexual problems, family conflict, adjusting to illness and disability, addiction, and many other relationship challenges. I have a small private practice and only see clients on Fridays because I also teach full-time at a local university. I also offer a free over-the-phone consultation.
