My journey in counseling began during my honorable service in the United States Navy, where I cultivated essential skills in leadership and communication. I have worked in various settings, including schools, private practice, community organizations, and military environments, gaining knowledge and expertise. My specialty has been with clients who experience anxiety, depression, life transitions, divorce, military challenges, ADHD, and trauma.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I studied at Cameron University and received a master's in behavioral science in psychology, and a BA in communications from Georgia Southern University. I have been counseling clients since 2011. Prior to becoming a therapist I was an active duty soldier in the United States Army. The army provided exposure to many cultures and adversity. I departed from the army and became involved in military programs while supporting my active duty husband in his service. I was an advocate for the unit's family readiness group which led me to pursue a career in psychology.

I provide therapy services to individuals ages 13 and older. Services include individual, couples and family therapy. I approach counseling from what is known as an eclectic position, meaning I enjoy working with very diverse groups of individuals utilizing therapy approaches that best suit their needs. Common concerns that lead clients to seek therapy include anxiety, depression, anger management, stress, trauma, parenting, grief/loss, marital discord, relational difficulties, premarital counseling, divorce, adjustment/phase of life issues, work stressors, military issues/transition, school/college issues, spirituality, etc.
