Hello! My name is Shamika, and I am a Master level Forensic Social Worker. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in the therapeutic setting. In my therapeutic practice, I adopt both a collaborative clinical and forensic viewpoint that is a client centered approach using Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other interventions that are tailored to the client’s life experience. My passions include working with my clients to heal from intergenerational traumas, adverse childhood experiences, and inner child work.
