I am a clinical child psychologist and my aim is to help children, adolescents, and their families, equipping youth with skills to put them on a positive path before adulthood. I use evidence-based tools that help youth and their families overcome challenges that keep them from moving forward in life. In addition to outpatient therapy, I offer psychological testing and evaluations for youth, helping to identify problem areas and unique needs and providing tailored recommendations.

I have NO availability for new clients, though our practice does have openings for new clients with Medicaid insurance or ability to self-pay! I believe that the relationship between client and counselor is the most important factor in how successful counseling will be. Her practice is based on principles of social justice, diversity and inclusion and she empowers clients to restore their mental wellness by identifying their strengths and resources. Dr. Evans enjoys working with teenagers, women and families and has experience with issues related to depression, anxiety, grief, disability, racial identity and trauma.

Genevieve is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of symptoms of developmental trauma disorders, PTSD, ADD & ADHD, anxiety & mood disorders, and addiction using neurofeedback and psychotherapy along with other biofeedback modalities that can help a person achieve emotional regulation. Additionally, she works with individuals seeking peak performance and students experiencing test anxiety. She specializes in Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology.

My therapeutic approach is strengths based and tailored for each client, situation, and goal to find what works best for that individual.
