I am a compassionate and fun-loving therapist who welcomes everyone regardless of gender, race, identity, beliefs, or sexual orientation. This journey is about YOU and that is who I am here for. My passion lies in building meaningful and lasting therapeutic relationships with my clients. As Soren Kierkegaard says, “Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.” I have years of training in forensic psychology and counseling techniques dealing with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and marriage and family counseling. My specialization includes group therapy in areas of intimacy and addiction. I am specialized in dealing with moderate and more serious mental health issues especially anxiety, impulsivity, and depression.

I am extremely passionate about guiding people to a better understanding of themselves and "why we do the things that we do". Our perspective dictates our emotional reactions to situations and therefore it affects our behavior; let me help you gain control of your reactions and change your thoughts! I am especially skilled with Depression/Anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse/addiction, sports psychology, relationships/communication, childhood issues, improving self-esteem, grief/loss, identity development and issues related to the child-to-adult transition. Tabitha decided to go into social work and counseling because she wanted to help people learn how to become the best versions of themselves. Tabitha has experience and passion working with individuals who are adjusting to major life changes such as birth of a child, becoming an empty nester, job changes, changes in marital status, etc. She has experience with helping clients learn to cope and thrive with mood disorders including anxiety, depression, and bi-polar diagnoses. Tabitha also works with patients experiencing disordered eating as well as adults and teens with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Veronica focuses on creating a healthy environment where clients can feel cared for, pressure-free and understood. Being able to help clients to find a safe place where they can connect with themselves is her passion and motivation. She decided to become a Licensed Professional Counselor when she realized the need for counseling services for minority populations and vulnerable communities. Veronica desires to help people from different backgrounds, cultural and sexual identities, financial situations, and life experiences.

As a CEDS-C, I’m here to guide you in changing your relationship with food. For anyone ready to address past trauma experiences, I am use an eclectic approach, and may use the Healing Our Core Issues (HOCI) model, to examine family of origin trauma, the work of Jan Bergstrom, LMHC, SEP, DARTT, and Dr. Rick Butts, who were intensely trained by Pia Mellody/The Meadows.
