As Soren Kierkegaard says, “Life is not a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced.” I have years of training in forensic psychology and counseling techniques dealing with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and marriage and family counseling. My specialization includes group therapy in areas of intimacy and addiction. I am specialized in dealing with moderate and more serious mental health issues especially anxiety, impulsivity, and depression.
I come from a multicultural background, having to experience life in many aspects. My approach is based on client needs. I use a variety of treatment modalities depending on what is best for my client: humanistic, eclectic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, experiential, existential, and structural family therapy.
I work with adults and couples who feel stuck between insight and change — people who are functional on the outside but internally overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or struggling in relationships. My work is practical, grounded, and collaborative, helping clients regain emotional clarity, stability, and direction without pathologizing their experience.
