My ideal client would be an individual (any identification) aged 16-42 who might struggle with relationships, in the middle of a life transition, just received a diagnoses of like depression, has a mild to moderate substance use disorder, or who has been in recovery for a while or a student who has a learning disability and wants to start advocating for themselves. I work with CBT & EMDR to work on how our brain communicates to use and at times high jacks our emotions system.

I am a Licensed Masters Social Worker under supervision with Robyn Adkins LCSW-S. I have a background working with clients from young children to the aging adult. I have diverse experience in many different social work fields from working with children in a school district to working with probation. I have worked within grief and loss with hospice patients and their families. During my career, I have assisted families processing major life changing events such as hospice, grief, living transitions into and out of nursing facilities, along with care-giver fatigue. I have provided education and support with substance use/abuse.

I am a graduate of the Steve Hicks School of Social Work at The University of Texas. My focus is on establishing a productive therapeutic relationship with clients in order to identify and build upon their strengths while finding a sense of ease in their own being. I can assist clients experiencing substance use disorder, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, and grief and loss. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor operating primarily on a virtual platform, however, based on scheduling, I can offer in-person sessions in Austin and Bastrop. I have spent the past four years as a therapist supporting a wide variety of mental health needs.
