Greetings, my clinical training is in Cognitive Behavior Therapy which assists in understanding personal struggles linked to the way we think and process our daily thoughts, worries and fears, which can lead to cyclical maladaptive behaviors. My emphasis is also in understanding the importance sleep cycles, mindfulness, nutrition, and exercise as part of our overall mental health. I have 20+ years of experience working in psychiatric hospitals, medical facilities, community health centers, pediatric clinics, schools, and residential treatment centers. I offered many years to working with children, adolescents, parents, and families through child protective services, rape crisis centers, shelters, neighborhood centers, and adoption centers. I am experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders including PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Anxiety, & Psychosis including the management of other symptoms that stem from family/ relationship conflict, social difficulties, poor school performance, and violence/ abuse.
