Identifying feelings, triggers, & problematic behaviors in a warm, non-judgmental environment can help bring change. I specialize in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, divorce, death, family transitions, social skills, bullying, academics, & self-esteem. My goal is to provide support & work to resolve issues brought into focus by stress, transitions, or other triggering situations. Clients who feel safe, nurtured, & validated are open to acquiring skills necessary for emotional growth.
I aim to help build the resiliency necessary to face the inevitable twists and turns of life. Whether you are just beginning to explore the idea of counseling for your child, or have been struggling for some time, I will work to help uncover productive ways to restore balance & happiness.
I work in conjuction with a seasoned marriage & family clinician, an art therapist & a counselor specializing in adolescents to provide a wraparound approach to treating the family unit. I also coordinate post high school planning for students who need additional support for essay writing, resume building and the application process.
