Deciding to go see a therapist is not the easiest decision, but can be the best decision you make to start to live the life you are meant to, and gain the emotional and practical life tools you need begin. I have been in practice for over 27 years, and am effective in treating addictions, substance dependence or abuse, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar etc), trauma, PTSD, anger management (individual and/or group), grief and loss, and work with psychiatry for medication assistance, if needed. I also can provide Drivers License evaluations, and treat those with addictions or who are substance dependent.
I have a wealth of knowledge and treatment approaches. I have an advanced degree in addictions, but do not exclusively work with the addictions population. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
I offer an intensive outpatient program for those who have substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues. This is typically a 18 session group which meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Nearly all insurances accepted including Oakland County grant medicaid.

Early Recovery Substance Use Disorder Group (ERG)
This is a recovery treatment group for those in the first year of sobriety from substance use (alcohol and/or drug). This group is co-ed and meets each Tuesday from 10am-11:30am. Most insurance, including Medicaid, accepted.
