Feeling stressed out, lonely, overwhelmed? My approach is inclusive, body- & sex-positive, and affirming of all racial, age, religion, ability, relationship status, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, sex, gender, or military identifications. Counseling is a place to build authentic, trusting relationships where you can freely express yourself without fear of judgement. Sessions should be a place where you feel comfortable delving into the darker, more bothersome parts of life and know that you are able to openly express yourself.

I really enjoy working with clients who are addressing confidence, self-esteem and intimacy concerns. I am sex positive, kink-friendly and affirming. I have experience working with individuals 15+ to address self-esteem, relationship issues, communication barriers and boundaries, in addition to other emotional concerns. I have training in processing trauma narratives and am working toward becoming a Certified Sex Therapist. My favorite part about being a therapist is celebrating your accomplishments, and showing you that you are worthy and deserving of being celebrated!

Trauma impacts our relationships. It's that simple. She attended The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and graduated with a double major in Psychology and Religious Studies. She received her Master's Degree in Psychology with a specialty in Professional Counseling and began working as a psychotherapist. She is a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor, Master Addiction Counselor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, National Certified Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and an Approved Clinical Supervisor. She is a part of LPCA-GA, GACA, and NAADAC.

I have extensive experience in treating depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem issues, and marital/family issues. I practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as I believe our thoughts and behaviors are connected and affect one another. I also provide Christian Counseling, as I am a Christian, and that does affect my paradigm. I approach therapy with you being an active participant in the process.
