At Palmetto Assessments and Learning Services, we specialize in psycho-educational evaluation services for a variety of learning, social/emotional, and behavioral disorders including; dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, ADHD, autism, intellectual disabilities, etc. Additionally, we conduct evaluations for those interested in assessing giftedness, those who are seeking additional information for entry into or seeking supports in private school settings, and those seeking Independent Educational Evaluations.

I always am amazed as I hear stories of pain and obstacles and strengths from clients. While it is intense work at times, it is very rewarding for clients to encounter the experiences of the past and present with support in the "here and now". Helping those with a history of trauma, losses/grief and the after-effects like depression, anxiety, dissociation and addiction, and relationship issues is very meaningful to me. Healing is possible!

I am scheduling now for in-person clients in my conveniently located office in downtown Clemson, SC. In my clinical work, I aim to help clients regain functioning, perspective, and self-awareness in their lives as they move through concerns with perinatal mental health, birth trauma, issues of spirituality, childhood trauma, anxiety, and depression.

I work with children, adolescents, adults and families. My areas of expertise include anxiety and depression, trauma and trauma-related issues, as well as building healthy relationships within families. I have worked extensively with children with behavioral challenges and supported their caregivers to manage their parenting responsibilities more effectively, while developing trust and a sense of belonging within the family unit.

As humans we are all susceptible to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and degraded self care. We can all fall victims to relationship problems, grief and confusion navigating through life with its ever changing twists and turns. I opened my practice with the desire to give clients a nonjudgmental, safe and welcoming environment in order to work on overcoming these life obstacles when they interfere with ones happiness and clarity.

It is such a blessing to be able to provide a safe, caring, and supportive space for my clients where I can enable them to live a more productive and satisfying life, help cope with new situations, challenges, or emotions, promote good decision making skills and improve relationships. When working with individuals and families, my goal is to assist with improving interactions and conflicts with others, diagnose and treat psychological disorders, guide clients through crises, address problematic relational or behavioral patterns.
