My name is Brittain and I love helping people accomplish goals and live more authentically. Feeling alone in our struggles can be hard, so my goal is to help you feel heard and valued as we work together to identify and overcome the obstacles you are facing and move toward a more fulfilled life. I believe each person and their struggles are unique, so I approach the counseling process to meet you right where you are, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. While I believe true healing is found through a relationship with Jesus Christ, I respect that not everyone shares this belief and will integrate it only upon request.

There are places inside we would rather hide from, places we may have failed or lacked courage, experienced a trauma or deep pain. You can’t go there alone. You need a place where you can work through it all. In our sessions we will build an alliance to dig deeper into who you are and find insight for new perspective and renewed strength. If you are a couple, I will help you work through the barriers that stifle your relationship.

My practice is limited to males 11 and up. Focus areas include boyhood, adolescence, masculinity and sexual health. We pretend boys don't experience the same degree of emotions compared to girls but in reality we don't teach boys how to identify, process and express emotions. It's little wonder substance abuse, domestic violence, violent crimes, road rage, communication/relationship problems and silent emotional suffering are at epidemic levels. Anger, depression, anxiety, poor self-esteem are rampant.

Samer completed his Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Louisville. He is a trained clinician and a social worker and sees his clients up close, especially their environment and how it impacts their lives.
