My ideal client is an adult or late teen/young adult, with an interest in improving and transforming their life via therapy. I focus on the whole person, contextualizing presenting problems/diagnoses within the framework of family dynamics, peer relations, trauma history, physical health, and job/school experience. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada & Rhode Island. I have been working as a therapist for 6 years but have 15 years of community organizing & educating with an intersectional lens on race, women's, & LGBTQ issues. I enjoy working with a wide variety of people and issues that include PTSD/trauma, grief, anxiety, disability, depression, abandonment, suicidality, self harm, hoarding & family issues.

My approach to counseling is supportive and growth oriented. I combine over 20 years of experience in a variety of social service settings with a firm belief that every human being has infinite potential, though sometimes undiscovered. A licensed psychologist in Rhode Island and Vermont, I have expertise in women’s issues, trauma (including EMDR treatment), grief, and stress management.
