Through helping to improve relationships, sex, intimacy, sexuality and gender identity to enhance quality of life. I strive to create a safe and accepting space to explore and discover an authentic lifestyle within these aspects of life. Through a sex positive approach, the goal is to reduce shame and enhance authenticity. Beginning with the exploration with relationship to self, my clients are able to enhance their relationships with others. Challenging the messages, beliefs and values family and societal has created allows for clients to learn and create their own narrative for the life that aligns with them.

When do you first remember feeling hopeless or alone? Or the first time you recall thinking, ‘Is this the happiest I am ever going to feel?’ Perhaps it was leaving work last night and wondering, 'How did I get here?' Today you can choose to start feeling different.

Has it felt like your life is driven by what you don’t want to feel instead of what’s meaningful to you? Trauma isn’t just the events that happened to you, but the impact that they have inside you. Regardless of how long ago they were, past painful experiences can lay the foundation for how you view yourself and the world. This can leave you feeling like you’re responding based on old patterns, even if they get in the way of who you are today. We are all informed by our past. However, we are also more than the worst things that have happened to us.

Starting the healing process is challenging and takes courage. Within all of us is a drive or desire to become whole, happy and connected to our self and our world. I see the importance of integrating all parts and aspects of our Self and becoming more whole and complete human beings. This journey into wholeness in the realization of our potential, underpins our personal journey of transformation and healing. This philosophy is at the core of my approach.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
