My name is Alexandra Jackson. My license is LCSW22763. I have worked in various settings and age 2 years old to 90 years old. Expertise is age-related issues, death and dying, multigenerational communication problems and issues related to living and honoring multi cultures within family and/or self, violence in family and community, refugee issues, trauma, communication skills, caregiver issues, anxiety, depression, and self. I work with children, adults, and the elderly who have depression and/or anxiety. Some clients have long-term depression/anxiety others are acute. I evaluate for previous trauma and risk assessment.

In Genesis 6-8, there was a great flood. The earth was covered with water and it seemed like all hope was lost. But then Noah sent out a dove to search for new life. That dove returned with an olive branch. That olive branch signified rebirth, new hope, new life. This is why I named my practice, Olive Branch Therapy. To remind you that there is an olive branch in your future. There is hope for you. Hope in your pain, hope in your struggle. I will hold out this hope for you until you can grasp your own olive branch once again.

My goal is to provide a safe place for individuals, couples, and families to deal with relationship conflicts, addiction, domestic violence, sexual abuse, grief & loss, and other issues, as well as with the anxiety, depression and anger that often accompany them.
