I am committed to helping clients find self-understanding, heal emotional pain and create more fulfilling lives within a safe and nurturing environment. I have over 16 years of experience in working with adolescents, adults, and families in effort to improve people’s functioning and quality of life.
I am skilled at treating issues such as trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and life transitions. Identity development, grief and loss, relationship problems and managing symptoms related to your diagnosis are other concerns that I help people address through therapy.
I practice primarily from a psychodynamic approach and also use CBT, motivational interviewing, and DBT to enrich the therapeutic process. I am also trained in EMDR which can be a beneficial modality to address single-episode and complex traumas.
