In-person & In-network. Serenity specializes in mental health and substance use counseling for teens and young adults ages 14-28. We provide personalized intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services with an emphasis on peer support and family involvement. At Serenity, we'll work together to identify what works best for you and provide a serene therapeutic space to connect, get support & make positive changes. Most clients begin in our IOP level of care before stepping down to outpatient. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and hold credentials as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I have been in the field for 11 years and have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns; including depression, anxiety, identity formation, crisis management, addiction, and life transitions. I have also gravitated throughout the last few years towards the young adult population. I feel this phase of life can be so overwhelming and exhausting at times to navigate without proper supports in place!

Hilary Chentow is a therapist licensed in WA, PA and DE. Hilary works with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, situations, and mental health goals. She is passionate about supporting LGBTQ folks, especially those who would like to explore their gender. Many clients work with Hilary to find a sense of meaning as they go through major life transitions, which could include marriage, divorce, becoming a parent, switching careers, or moving to a new place. She also supports clients who struggle with chronic illness, the negative impacts of trauma, or coping with infertility, abortion and miscarriage.

Starting therapy can be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about yourself. Therapy can also come at a time in your life that feels most difficult and challenging. My goal is to assist, encourage, and teach my clients how to reach their full potential. My clients have faced diverse issues such as career, emotional, educational, familial, personal, and other various mental health issues. I feel that I am a positive support for those who find themselves in a time of their lives they may be looking for some extra help. Therapy can guide you into a better direction of life that you are hoping for, and I am here to help!

For the past 14+ years I’ve worked directly with families, couples, adults, young adults and adolescent populations in inpatient, collegiate, and outpatient environments, with clinical and/or leadership experience gained at facilities including Devereux, Remuda Ranch, the Meadows, Grand Canyon University, the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, and Doorways Adolescent Clinic before moving exclusively to telehealth-only private practice. Currently I treat 18+ adults residing in Arizona or Pennsylvania.

Sometimes navigating every day tasks feels harder than it should. Sometimes there is an indescribable ache that weighs on your capacity to live life on your terms. Maybe there is a specific overwhelming stressor that seems impossible to surmount, or a life transition that is taking more out of you than expected. You might want relief from these strains and burdens, to have better relationships with others and with your self. You might know there needs to be significant change, but don’t know where and how to start. I am here to help and support you though these challenges.

I am skilled in helping people with trauma issues, depression, addiction and dealing with major life changes. If you have been dealing with these and are feeling ashamed, guilty, hopeless, or afraid, I can help you. You will have a warm, safe office setting with a therapist who will not judge you, and will treat you with the compassion and respect you deserve.

I have been helping individuals reach their personal goals through counseling for over 25 years. I base my work on the belief that every human being has the ability to face challenges and emerge from them with greater strength, to create and sustain meaningful relationships, and to craft a unique life, one that is meaningful, satisfying, and consistent with personal values. I provide support for individuals to recognize and fully experience their own painful issues, then help them build the strength and strategies necessary to confront those issues directly and create solutions to effect lasting change.
