Accepting New Clients - I help individuals and couples understand the deeper meaning of the problems that are holding them back and work with them so they can break free and reach their full potential. I use empathy, compassion, and unconditional positive regard to guide my practice while helping people understand themselves. Working together collaboratively but acknowledging that people are the experts of their own life, we will work together to end suffering while building self growth.

You are the driver of our therapeutic car and I step into the passenger seat. I guide you using many different techniques/therapy styles and you are the one completely in control.

Parenting a young child is challenging, but it is so much more difficult when your child is oppositional, defiant, and/or aggressive. Many parents blame themselves, feel isolated, and are unsure of what to do. You can be the solution, though! Through a unique approach called Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), I coach parents and guardians in developing the necessary tools for promoting a healthy relationship with their children based on mutual love and respect. In return, children feel more secure and are less interested in testing boundaries. PCIT has strong scientific support and is highly effective in person or online!

I have been married for over 30 years to a Lieutenant/Paramedic in the fire service, a mother of two grown children, and have more than thirty years of experience working with teens and adults in medical and Christian-based settings. Hello! I am an IFS trained therapist and have been using Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach to therapy for the past 5 years. I am a practicing psychologist with over 20 years of experience. I provide individual and couple's therapy to adults and adolescents. I work with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, problematic behaviors, communication problems, and relationship issues. And yes! I have a therapy dog, a French Bulldog named Brie. She may even agree to sit with you and allow you to pet her!
