Life can have it's challenges. Many of us rarely predict that one of those challenges will involve growing your family. I have a passion for helping those who might be undergoing fertility treatments, have experienced pregnancy loss, or are navigating maternal mental health related symptoms. My work also focuses on how these intersect with generalized anxiety, depression, trauma, and religious trauma/spiritual abuse. I am a safe space and affirming of all identities and relationship structures.

I have extensive experience working in a non-profit setting with adults, couples, families, and groups. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as a person-centered approach to help clients work through issues of depression, family violence, eating disorders, trauma, loss, addiction, anxiety, self-harm, and stress management. I have an extensive history of working with foster children and their families and am well versed in the unique challenges these families face.

I am a counselor who has a heart for meeting you where you are, instilling hope, and making counseling a positive experience. You will find nonjudgmental understanding and encouragement, as well as guidance to help you meet your goals. I believe it is important to find your joy and purpose through this journey called life. No matter where you find yourself currently, I'm excited to share this journey with you!

I have experience working with adults, children, teens, and families.  I am a bilingual therapist; I speak English and Spanish. I have experience treating various issues including depression, life adjustments, self-esteem issues, domestic violence, addiction, grief, loss, anxiety, and abuse.

Everyone needs somebody to lean on. But what happens when the pressure is too much or goes unnoticed? I see it, I acknowledge the weight and sacrifice. A lot of the time, I believe, humans just need a little validation; a reminder that they matter and their efforts mean something. I've seen that the people with the biggest hearts suffer the most, out of protection for others and unfortunately put their quality of life on the backburner. I remind my clients of the beauty of their own heart, their innate potential, and the power of self worth. We have one life to live, why not truly live it.
