I am motivated and committed to assisting clients in reaching their greatest and most powerful life success outcomes, by providing therapeutic and coaching services that ensure optimal mental and emotional well-being. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and substance abuse. I work mostly with an adult population but will provide services to adolescents. I also work with public, private and faith based communities, providing life skills workshops and training. I currently accept insurances through Maryland Medicaid, Aetna and Care First Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical in the state of Maryland with 5 years’ of experience working with children and adults seeking help with depression, anxiety. Fisayo completed his Masters in Social Work from Morgan State University Baltimore, MD.

A guiding principle for me is a quote from my Nana- “we are all here to help each other through.” For every one of us there is a time when extra support is beneficial. I bring over ten years of experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults in the greater Baltimore area. Working collaboratively with clients I use evidence-based practices including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, and client-centered therapy. Additionally, I have training in animal-assisted therapy and have my dog, Marlow, join in on some sessions if desired.

I use a variety of techniques to match the needs of each client throughout each session. I primarily use DBT, ACT, and IFS therapeutic modalities. These techniques emphasize mindfulness, personal strengths, resilience, and choice. Additionally, I use compassion and explore my clients’ values to gently challenge them to find more effective ways of getting their needs met. At times I use improv, humor, and a conversational and dynamic therapeutic style to create a judgment-free, supportive, and safe environment; disarming the self-critic; and allowing my clients to express themselves freely.
