Hello! If you are reading this, that probably means that you are interested in who I am and what I do! ( Thank you for your curiosity!) I am a licensed (OH) social worker. My “expertise” is in the treatment of anxiety (amongst other diagnoses). In exploring your concerns, my most frequently used theoretical approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy or CBT, which generally involves: (a) identifying and changing the unhelpful thoughts and beliefs that create and support our anxious feelings and/or (b) using time during therapy(or suggesting things to try at home) to approach, rather than avoid, the things that create fear or anxiety.

I am Hillary Schultz, a clinician and owner of Progression Counseling Group. Individual services are available to those ages 5 and up. I specialize in integrative therapy, my approach is to address the individual holistically through both traditional talk therapy combined with art therapy, hypnotherapy, mindfulness, and EMDR. My specialties include: anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, substance abuse/dependency and recovery. I believe the goals of therapy are to help to empower individuals to find healing and meaning in their lives.

Navigating through this life can become difficult and because we are human, we are vulnerable and face challenges. As a licensed therapist, I have successfully aided clients in managing difficulties utilizing evidenced-based practices, implementing a holistic approach, while analyzing the big picture. My experience working in various levels of care and with different populations has afforded me a wealth of training in areas such as depression, anxiety, severe mental illness, trauma, substance abuse, social adaptability, dual diagnosis, gambling, and a variety of other life altering deficiencies.

In my 30 years of experience as a child and adult clinical psychologist, I have developed a diverse set of assessment and therapeutic skills, allowing me to provide optimal care to children, adults and families. I am a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and my specialties include helping families going through the difficulties of divorce, parent coordination, preserving a cooperative and collaborative environment to keep the children's best interests a priority, and conducting court-ordered custody evaluations. Attorneys and courts frequently request these services in order to help resolve child custody and parenting disputes.

Melissa Miller is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. She earned her Master's degree in social work from The Ohio State University and her Bachelor's degree in social work from Cleveland State University. Her experience primarily lies in providing individual and group therapy in both community mental health and forensic social work as well as private practice. Melissa has served a wide variety of client populations, including adults who have experienced incarceration, substance use, and religious trauma.

I work with concerns that include relationships, addiction, trauma, family-of-origin dysfunction, depression, anxiety, womens issues, codependency and personal growth. I am trained in a variety of treatment modalities and techniques including individual, group, couples and family counseling, EMDR, and psychodrama.

Amanda has served a diverse range of clients, including those with mood disorders, those struggling with various hardships in life, and most recently, empowering caregivers with oppositional teens. She has experience working with ages 14 and up, with a primary focus of working with adults. Her areas of specialty include mood disorders, life transitions, relationship issues, faith/spiritual issues, trauma/PTSD, helping professionals, criminal/legal issues, parenting and maternal issues and supporting individuals post abortion and the unique issues they may face.

Many of the answers we need for healing come from within ourselves. I will work collaboratively with you to identify and remove obstacles that currently hinder you from accessing your inner wisdom and ability to heal.Because no two people are exactly alike there is no one therapy method that can address the needs of every person. To honor your individuality I utilize an integrative approach with emphasis from client-centered, strength based, mindfulness based and somatic methods. I am a level 2 graduate of Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I am currently pursuing my certification in Sensorimotor Psychotherpy.

I specialize in seeing clients who struggle with over-controlled personality types. Do you work too much? Want things to be perfect? I have treated such a wide variety of diagnoses and people from all over the country. I am open to most clients as long as they are adults.

I am a culturally aware, LGBTIA+ affirming, sex-positive, body-positive, and flexible clinician who believes that a “one-size fits all” approach to counseling does not exist! I emphasize trauma-informed care in my work and am dedicated to spending as much time as possible establishing a positive, comfortable, and supportive relationship with all of my clients. I practice from the idea that each client is the expert in their own lives, while also emphasizing the importance of receiving an additional, professional perspective.
