Our network of providers consists of over twenty independent practitioners with various areas of expertise. I have years of experience working with children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. I integrate several different approaches to each therapeutic connection to meet individual needs. I have experience with clients ranging from eating disorders, anxiety, depression, headaches, relationship conflicts, ADHD and more. I welcome talking about what I provide and develop plans to reduce symptoms.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

I have been in the mental health field for five years with a master’s in mental health counseling and, currently, obtaining my doctorate in counselor education. I have worked with a plethora of symptomatic presentations, but my specialties lie in cutting-edge practices of chronic pain and mind-body disorders, sexual disorders, and trauma/PTSD. Prior experience in domestic violence and sexual assault crisis counseling, along with community advocacy for mental health services. I view health holistically: mind, body, and spirit. I have a deep understanding of how our mind and body effect one another; overall health is my priority.

GRIEF: A natural response after a loved one dies, family separates, job loss/change, a newly blended family, retirement, caregiving for someone you love, dealing with a difficult diagnosis, an unexpected change or losing a beloved pet. I help clients to learn about the waves of grief and develop a path towards healing.
