The Iona Family Therapy Center operates out of Iona University's new Bronxville Campus. We offer affordable, responsive therapy to the community. Using a Family Systems approach, therapists assist clients to achieve their goals in a supportive, sincere, and nonjudgmental environment. All of our therapists are under the supervision of Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, and AAMFT Approved Supervisors.

Collaboratively with my clients I work to help each one craft goals and an individualized plan to achieve them. I can help you work through a diverse set of issues including feelings of anxiety and depression, ADHD, and LGBTQ+ concerns. I draw on different modalities such as contemplative practices and mindfulness, existential therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other approaches. This integrative approach works to craft a client centered therapeutic plan.

I am a bilingual first-generation American born to Albanian parents and a licensed psychotherapist in New York. I am a graduate of the Silberman School of Social Work and completed my undergraduate degree specializing in developmental psychology. Originally from Bronx, NY, I have worked with a huge demographic.I have worked as a contractor for the Army Reserve as a Youth Services Specialist responsible for Family Programming, Yellow Ribbon Re-Integration Events, Battle Weekends, etc. In addition, to enhance my social services background, I have also served as a Care Ambassador with CDC assisting with Ebola outreach prevention services.
