Things aren't always successful on our first try, but my ideal client will understand this, embrace the lesson in each situation, and be willing to use what they've learned to try again.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.

My ideal clients have self-awareness or the humility to be honest about themselves. It takes courage to own your strengths and challenges, but if we can talk about their truths, then we can work on manifesting them in their lives.

Common feelings like "I don’t feel heard” or “I can’t seem to do anything right” are expressed by the couples I work with. Individual clients feel overwhelmed and stressed, “My life is changing dramatically and I’m not sure what to do next.”

I believe strongly that clients come in all different shapes and sizes and from different walks of life. Therefore, I do not have an ideal client, as my wish is to help anyone who needs it regardless of their experiences, needs, and goals. I welcome the experiences I will gain from having diverse clients.

My ideal client is a young adult facing overwhelming life challenges. They might feel lost amid trauma, loss, or big changes, even though they seem okay to others. They struggle with emotions like sadness and stress and need a safe place to talk, heal, and learn healthy ways to cope. They want to find peace and purpose, and they seek support to understand themselves better, grow, and face life with confidence. They're ready to explore, heal, and become the best version of themselves, knowing they don't have to do it alone.

I believe in creating a safe place for you to share your frustrations, fears and goals. I want you to feel heard and confident about moving forward. My work is focused on individuals living with anxiety, depression, & those struggling with transitions related to issues such as chronic illness. Let me help as I have been there too. My ideal client is seeking therapy because they are feeling sad. It almost feels like depression. The client is not sure how to stop feeling this way. They also don't know why they are feeling this way. They want to learn what is making them feel sad. The client would like to learn strategies to help identify triggers and learn coping skills to decrease the depression.

I help clients heal from their past. I've had the honor of working with clients who have overcome some of the most difficult experiences and diagnoses. These include domestic violence and sexual abuse, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, bullying, traumatic loss/grief, and couples dealing with infidelity. I also have experience working with individuals on the spectrum (Autism Spectrum Disorder). I can help you understand why and how difficult experiences in your past have impacted your present. I have an M.S.W.from Rutgers Graduate school of Social Work,and I have an L.C.S.W. in the state of NJ. I ve been in practice for TWENTY(20)yrs. I am also a Christian counselor for those who would like to add a Biblical base to their sessions.I work with Adults in individual,marital and family counseling and with middle school and High School students as well as children age 10 and above. I work with the many addictions today and use a Christian based Pre-Marital Program.I help guide you in finding balance and inner peace through communication and trust!
