I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) theory.

I utilize mindfulness, attachment, and self-compassionate approaches and find a great deal of benefit from incorporating creative interventions, such as the use of art and horticultural therapies. I'm an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist and also have advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention therapy, which I most often use in conjunction with ACT, to treat OCD and anxiety symptoms. Additionally, I am a gender specialist with advanced training through WPATH.

My experience includes serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ). Following my tenure with UMDNJ, I joined the Hopewell Springs Counseling Center and currently serve as the center's Assistant Director. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University, and also completed a fellowship at the VA in Maryland with a focus on evidence-based treatment.

I am a licensed social worker who works with children (ages 4 to 18), families and adults by providing a trusting and supportive environment.
