The Integrative Therapy Institute of New Jersey (ITI-NJ) is a group practice in clinical and counseling psychology that provides psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, and families. My name is Nicole & I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a passion for guiding others as they navigate the challenges of life, whatever they may be! My experience in working with diverse populations throughout the lifespan has included working with those who suffer from anxiety, depression, grief & loss, relationship difficulties, as well as life threatening and/or chronic illnesses, with a special interest in treating those facing a cancer diagnosis for themselves or a loved one. As a survivor, I understand first-hand the hardships & grief as well as the hope & perseverance needed to accept & overcome.

My ideal client is female, male, or nonbinary and is kind and generous, has good ethics, and loves to help others. They have been experiencing low self-esteem and have been numbing out emotions through food, technology, work, or other distractions. Their numbing-out practices have held them back from being their authentic self, productivity with work, maintaining healthy and loving friendships and relationships, having enough energy, and their overall self-esteem. They are ready to commit to putting in the work in therapeutic services to help them develop and maintain healthier coping skills.

A client who is continuously present physically and mentally for treatment is ideal. Despite setbacks and stressors, they still move forward, only taking a moment. Their issues can be environmental, situational, or psychological.

My ideal client would be someone who shows up to their session eager to work towards a better version of themselves. This person may be dealing with some anxiety, dissociation, and or depression. This person may need social support, encouragement, and new hobbies. This person's goals may include implementing positive self-talk, planning activities for building self-esteem, and incorporating mindfulness practices to assist with their anxiety. This person wants more peace and balance in their life and relationships to help them feel more connected with themselves and others as well as decrease feelings of anxiety and depression.
