My ideal client is focused on personal growth and healing. I specialize in depression and anxiety disorders, as well as ADHD, and I have expertise with the other issues mentioned in the side bar. My goal is to provide you with tools that you can utilize outside of our therapy sessions. I incorporate humor and warmth into each session, and I strive to help you to live a life that leaves you excited to wake up every morning.

I am a licensed psychologist in both NJ and NY serving adults who may be struggling with mood and/or personality disorders. Those include but are not limited to: depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, substance use, grief and loss, self-growth, relationships and interpersonal stressors. I perceive therapy as a safe and comfortable space allowing you to take a journey of discovery and growth. I am a depression and anxiety therapist in New Jersey. I hold a Master degree in Clinical Counseling from William Paterson University. MaryAnn draws from diverse theoretical orientations in her clinical work and is experienced working with a broad range of presenting problems, including counseling and safety planning for high risk individuals diagnosed with but not limited to: MDD, OCD, ADHD, GAD, BPD, Adjustment Disorders, Bipolar Disorders. She has provided counseling for adults affected by trauma; struggling with depression, anxiety, and self-harm. MaryAnn uses various mindfulness and body-awareness techniques to assist clients with decreasing symptoms. She integrates principles of cognitive behavior therapy with various mindfulness techniques.

Nadine Abdelaziz is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional in New Jersey who Joined Lifestance in 2024. She has a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a Masters in Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Through her clinical experience and education, Nadine has learned many skills that will help her aid the client on their journey. She offers patience, understanding, empathy and compassion. Outside of work, Nadine enjoys reading psychological thrillers, engaging in pyrography, and enjoying the sport of fencing.
