For over 15 years, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with various mental health needs. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Minor in Spanish from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am proud to have the privilege to serve both English and Spanish speaking communities.

I believe in treating the whole person; not just focusing on detriments but also strengths and acceptance of both. My holistic approach includes a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Cultural Sensitivity. I have experience working with individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities and an undergrad degree in Special Education. I strive to empower clients to feel that their successes come from themselves and are the result of their own hard work. My experience in social work is deliberately broad to address a wide range of concerns. My background includes child development/behavioral issues, Individual, couples counseling, adolescent, vocational/employment counseling, chronic disease case management, Advocacy and Life coaching.

I have been working with families, individuals and couples for 35 years to identify and explore recurring patterns that prevent a person from living a rich, fulfilling and meaningful life. I collaborate with clients, using a Family Systems framework, to explore those issues that are contributing to relationship conflict, work difficulties and low self-esteem that often result in anxiety, depression and addiction. Our work together will explore roles, patterns, and conflicts in one's family of origin as well as how they continue to impede one's life in the present.
