I am a psychotherapist with over 45 years experience treating adults, older children, adolescents and couples. Sometimes people need help with specific problems such as marital discord, parenting, extended family conflicts or navigating life transitions. Persistent concerns such as lowered self-esteem, a pattern of unsuccessful romantic or work relationships, addictions, anxiety, depression and obsessive/compulsive behaviors often benefit from a professional hand. The goal in therapy is to make you aware of the patterns and beliefs that impair your ability to relate successfully with others and improve your self-esteem.
I have integrated various therapeutic modalities in my work with adolescents and adults. My interventions are tailored to meet the particular needs of my patients, whether individually, as a couple or a family. My objective is help alleviate your immediate distress, while promoting emotional growth and thoughtful non-judgemental reflection about your life.
