Hello! My name is Nate Rayburn and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Grain Valley Missouri. I have been practicing counseling in Missouri for the past eight years and look forward to being able to help you with any number of issues you may be battling.

People come to our office hurting and wanting change in their lives. We offer caring, experienced and professional psychological services.

I work with individuals, couples and families on such issues as relationship issues, problem solving, conflict resolution, communication enhancement, anger management, drug/alcohol abuse and addiction. Many clients present with depression, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, childhood disorders such as conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, etc. I work with adults and couples on relationship/marital issues, domestic violence, etc. I work with clients who have experienced abuse, both sexual and physical. I assist parents with parent-child relational issues and behavior modification skill development. I also assist clients with anxiety disorders, grief/loss issues and struggles with adjusting to life circumstances.

We all get wounded in the battles of life -- some of us in tragically dramatic ways, and others of us bleed through the piercings of a hundred small injuries. The counselors at Dipoto Counseling Group are Licensed Counselors or Social Workers in the State of Missouri. Our counselors possess a wide range of experience and were selected to meet the diverse needs of our community. We have 16 counselors in our three offices that are ready to work with you. If you are looking for individual, family or couples counseling, we have someone that can work with you. We also have 7 Provisionally Licensed Counselors and Interns that are working under the supervision of Marc Dipoto LPC. They meet weekly with their supervisor to discuss their cases. This service is offered to at a reduced rate.

Many things in our lives can lead us to reach out when we feel the need for support or help working through challenges. Many of my clients work on trauma and pain they have carried for a long time. I help my clients reorganize patterns of thinking, feeling, and acting in order to adapt to their present reality and to release "the old stuff". I became a therapist because I knew what it felt like to be preoccupied by something crying out to be "fixed" or "solved". I enjoy working with clients to collaboratively address their challenges and unravel layers that interfere with getting in touch with themselves.

The ideal client is anyone who is willing to come to therapy. With a strengths-based, trauma-focused, and client-centered approach, I can work with nearly any individual, couple, family, or group.

I'm an Individual & Family Therapist licensed since 2005. My background includes 12 years (2005-2017) working full-time in long-term inpatient programs for teens as a therapist & training director before I opened a private practice in 2017. My advanced training allows me to treat a broad scope of issues but I don't pretend to specialize in everything! Specializing only in: 1) Teens / Young adults, 2) Parenting & 3) Christian counseling. I have 20+ years of student ministry & ministry leadership experience. My career in residential care has trained me to treat the toughest challenges teens, young adults, & families can face.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor providing individual, couples and group counseling with adolescents and adults incorporating an eclectic approach to therapy. I have been fortunate during my years to work with families experiencing difficulties, angry teenagers and adults struggling to meet their full potential, couples trying to grow their relationship and individuals struggling with alcohol and substance abuse and I feel grateful to see the process of growth and change that can occur. My name is Caleb Stephens, and I am an Intersectional Clinician. The reality of therapy is that it is inaccessible to most, and the majority of therapists gear their therapy around themselves, and not around the needs of the client, nor the layers of identity that exist. I am not a traditional therapist, as I am also an Activist, and the majority of the work that I do is Identity work. This is about meeting you where you're at, and I'm here for it.

We are not meant to live life alone, but rather deeply involved in relationships. Some of these relationships are highly successful, while others have come with great loss, significant struggle or just the every day difficulty of learning to live and enjoy life with another person. I will help you with this on a personal level, and in the process of restoring health and relationships with whomever you are intending to build this restored relationship with.

Diakonos is a private mental health counseling center in Independence, MO since 1981.
