My approach to therapy incorporates deep emotional work with action and goal-oriented steps. I aim to help clients build awareness of their pain points while fostering a mindful and nonjudgmental curiosity about themselves. I have specialized training in working with folks impacted by trauma and experiencing perinatal mental health and adjustment concerns. I believe our past experiences, including intergenerational trauma, can impact the way we show up in the present. My goal is to create a therapeutic space in which clients can work through these experiences to find their authentic selves and build deeper relationships.

I work best with individuals and couples who already have some practice with self-reflection but you now need a fresh perspective and stronger support. I enjoy helping diverse people, in terms of relationship style, abilities, brain type, or cultural identities. I also specialize in recovery from cults or narcissistic abuse.

I offer short-term & long-term therapy focusing on depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, LGBT and gender identity exploration, adoption and parenting issues, PTSD, complex stress and trauma, & substance use. Many of my clients have had previous experiences in therapy before reaching my office. They feel at the end of their rope as traditional talk therapy hasn't facilitated the changes they need. In Psychotherapy, it is the relationship between the patient and the therapist that allows for the patient to search for understanding into the nature of their difficulties. Seemingly unexplainable behavior, thought patterns and symptoms turn out to have identifiable meanings beyond the awareness of the patient. My ideal clients are ages 13 and up. I thoroughly enjoy working with pre-teens and teenagers, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
