Misty Tashina Bradley (she/they), BA, LMT is a graduate student at Chaminade University. She will receive her master’s degree in counseling psychology with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy in the Spring of 2024. Misty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Anthropology and English Literature. Misty has extensive experience traveling and living abroad. Born in the Central Plains of Texas, she descends from multiple lineages of tribespeople from the river basins of the Rio Grande to the Northern Great Plains, and poor Irish immigrants.
She moved to Hō‘ae‘ae’ Ahupua‘a on O‘ahu in her teens and her young adult life was shaped greatly by O‘ahu: the south surf shores, the green pocket of Palolo Valley’s daily rains, and the hustle of town from University to Kāhala. Currently, she calls the southwestern flank of Hualālai home. Misty works with couples, families, and individuals.
As a student studying for her MFT, paying attention to emotional connections and relationships plays a crucial role in unraveling past and present trauma and struggles. For trauma survivors and family, she offers a safe space filled with empathy, care, and relief. Misty strives to provide cultural-sensitive care with privacy and confidentiality.
