My goal when a client comes in to my office is for them to feel like they are safe to share anything. Most of my clients have experienced hardships or trauma that can be hard to talk about, but it's often necessary to heal. I am curious to learn about the lives people have lived and what has molded and shaped them. There are so many heavy aspects of life that we can carry. I take a holistic approach to identifying problem areas, understanding how the mind and body are connected in storing trauma, emotions, patterns of familial influence, and figuring out how to break out of cycles that limit people from living a fulfilling life.

Harbor Psychological Associates is an established group of experienced, skilled and compassionate mental health professionals providing confidential, quality services. We are psychologists and counselors who are here to help adults, children, couples and families who are dealing with a wide range of issues. Our therapists are licensed and/or certified in their respective disciplines, have advanced degrees and specialty training. We offer both telehealth and in-person sessions. Our offices are in a beautiful old home located in the historic district of downtown Muskegon.

I work with adults, adolescents, couples, families, and children. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches uniquely catered to each client and based on a treatment plan that we develop together. I do not believe that each therapist is automatically the best person for every client that walks through their door, but that the client needs to "click" with the therapist they work with so they have room to do the work they need to do.
