I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for 25 years. I have worked with people who experience trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, addiction, personality disorders, to name just a few. I work with adolescents and adults. I provide individual, marriage/pre-marital, family and group counseling. Therefore, I believe that I can offer a broad range of counseling training and experience.

My practice focuses on the well being of my clients. I provide mental health services for children to adults. My passion is to serve families in the community in need of mental health counseling. I am experience in child play therapy, family therapy, marriage/couples counseling, adolescent,, individual and substance abuse counseling. For over 30 years I have helped individuals, couples and famlies in Miami, and more recently in Bonita Springs, Naples and Estero. Increasing safety while restoring connection and full aliveness to relationships is my goal when working with couples and families. I am a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, and a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, using methods conceived by Harville Hendrix (author of "Getting The Love You Want"). I am also trained in the Gottman method of couples therapy, and am experienced in addressing conflict and crisis situations for couples.

I enjoy helping both individuals and couples to ask important questions, to look at themselves, their issues and their emotions without judgment, and to be curious about new ways of relating to life. I value collaboration, respect, kindness, and humor in our work together. From this foundation, we explore core beliefs and past experiences that shape who clients are and how they react. We work on noticing and transforming current patterns. As clients gain a deeper connection to themselves and greater insight into their stories and their loved ones, they find new ways to create peace and fulfillment in their lives.

I treat depression, anxiety, and trauma. I provide guidance with regards to interpersonal and marriage/partnership issues as well. My approach is to address underlying issues and provide treatment that heals the person as a whole. I utilize evidence-based and self-empowering modalities and create a safe space for you to work towards gaining insight into your choices and behaviors. I guide you to set your own goals and arrive at your own solutions as I believe you have the answers and need a supportive space to see them. It takes a lot of courage and humility to ask for help and I make every effort to make your investment count.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist who studied at Western Michigan University. I am a Master’s Certified Addiction Counselor, EMDR & Gotman level I trained. I have been in practice since 2012. My goal is to utilize evidence-based techniques to help clients achieve their wellness goals. I am devoted to helping couples restore intimacy, passion, and commitment, to helping individuals with mental health and addiction concerns to better cope and achieve some level of homeostasis. One of my strengths is the ability to break down complex issues into smaller segments so that clients can get unstuck and move toward healing/recovery.

I work with individuals from adolescence through adulthood, and specialize in Health Psychology. I am most concerned with the psychological, behavioral, and cultural factors that contribute to health and wellness. I have been in private practice since 2014 and completed training in EMDR in 2016. Treating physical and emotional trauma is my primary focus, specifically in first responder populations.
