Are you a woman who has experienced abuse of any kind? The type of abuse may include physical, emotional, verbal and sexual abuse. I have extensive experience working with women who have been in abusive relationships. I also have a passion for working with women's issues such as trauma, self-esteem, body image, parenting, relationship issues, to name a few.
I use an empowerment model to help you as a client regain control of your life. I focus on strengths and resources to promote autonomy. My goal is to promote a safe and nurturing environment where you can feel at ease as you go through the therapeutic process.
In addition, I have experience working with adolescent issues such as peer pressure, bullying, dating, school pressures. I have over eight years of experience working with adolescents and their families. As I work with the adolescent, I make it a high priority to work on improving the parent-child relationship.
