Are you struggling with anxiety and feeling on edge? Do you find unwanted thoughts, images, or worries getting “stuck” in your head? Are you doing everything you can to try to avoid sadness and pain because it feels overwhelming? Do you wish that you could be present in your life in a way that means something to you? If you relate to any of these questions, I would love to talk more. My areas of clinical focus include OCD, anxiety, depression, or other chronic mental health concerns.
My treatment approach often includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and/or Motivational Interviewing (MI). I am passionate about my work and offer warmth, empathy, non-judgment, practicality, and a bit of humor (when appropriate) in sessions.
I believe that counseling is a space to share openly, increase self-awareness, and move towards emotional health and lasting change according to your personal values. It is a big step to share difficult things with someone new. When you are ready, I would be happy to chat with you to see if we may be a good fit.
