Hello! I am a clinical mental health counseling intern. I practice therapy from a humanistic, person-centered lens. While my first therapists were Cognitive-Behavioral focused, I have grown to appreciate a more adaptive approach. I have an interest in psychodrama, trauma informed therapy, and positive psychology. As a member of the queer community myself, I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, ethical non-monogamy, and kink friendly. Feminist theory heavily influences my therapeutic perspective with regards to the overarching societal and social justice systems that impact all of our daily lives. I hope to one day specialize in sex therapy.
I encourage anyone who is looking to receive therapy from someone who is queer, neurodivergent, a feminist, and anti-racist to reach out and schedule a consult to see if we might be a good fit. I always want clients to find someone who they feel supported with, even if that therapist is not me!
